Crystal C.741 days agoThis was EXACTLY what I was hoping for: I contact for a quote, got a very quick reply, provided a photo, was given a reasonable rate, made an appointment for the following day, had two gentlemen show up on time, very efficiently hauled away the lumber and drywall in my backyard from a tear-down (even sweeping the area up!) and were very professional and courteous in the process. They even checked with their manager and came back (for a reasonable additional fee) that same day when they couldn't take all on the first haul. Angela B.973 days agoThanks to We Love Junk my entire basement and outdoor shed was thoroughly cleaned out with no stress or concern on my part. When two of the workers were skeptical about removing a post and handrail in order to remove the washer from the basement, Nick the owner came out himself and jumped right in to get the job completed. A special thanks to Zak who alerted me to a gas odor in the basement. Turns out that there was a gas leak and PECO had to come out and shut off the gas to the house until the leak was repaired. Thank you, Zak, for being conscientious and averting what could have been a major disaster. The team here made clearing out my storage unit a total breeze and I cannot recommend them enough for any of your junk haul needs.Step 1) Requested a quote via Yelp and had a super fast response from owner Nick.Step 2) Hopped on the phone and to go over processes.Step 3) They had a team meet me at my unit the NEXT morning (amazing!) who gave me an incredibly reasonable quote and hauled everything away right then and there.Step 4) Pay with credit card and go on with your day.I truly don't think it could have been easier if I scripted it myself. This was a smaller job and We Love Junk charges by space on their truck, so my total was ~$185 without fees and gratuity. The team that met me at my unit was incredible and I can't thank them enough for being so professional, speedy, kind, and helpful. It was in a very difficult area. They demolished the trailer and removed everything. It took two days and they stood by the original estimate. Excellent and friendly crew. Richard Rush1534 days agoI love We Love Junk I was extremely satisfied with the three men doing this small project. It involved the demolition and removal of a planter in front of the row-house. The planter was built with 96 bricks plus two chimney-flues containing larger plants. It was a few inches from the house and sat directly on the sidewalk. The workmen were very careful not to deface any remaining adjacent elements. And the cost of this project was acceptable. If I ever have another project that requires services performed by We Love Junk, I will call them immediately.Posted on TrustindexKate Letts1557 days agoFast, friendly, professional service We used WLJ a year ago for a massive attic clean out and I was so pleased with the whole experience that we hired them back for 2 other demos. Several months ago they completely gutted a 100+ year old bathroom. Again, we got the same excellent service and they were done in @2 hours. That included all the post-demo cleanup. Today we had them back to do a complete kitchen demo - all the Sheetrock, walls & ceiling, the old laminate flooring - everything. They did a fantastic job at keeping the drywall dust contained. (No sledgehammers involved!) When moving the appliances into another room they were super conscientious about protecting the hardwood floors that we just had refinished, which I really appreciated. They go out of their way to be accommodating, which is a rarity in these days. The price was actually less than what I was expecting- so extremely fair price for high quality work. And they cleaned up after they were done. The whole job took about 4 ½ hours, which just considering all the Sheetrock they carried out of here, was record time.+2Posted on Yelp

Kate L.1900 days agoIf you have a lot of stuff to get rid of, but don't have the time or inclination to find homes for it all or don't like the idea of throwing it all in a dumpster- do yourself a favor and call them. Best thing I ever did. They are friendly, courteous, and professional. They show up on time- and are amazingly efficient. I had an entire 3rd floor attic stuffed with over 40 years worth of stuff and they got it all cleared out in less than 2 hours. What I especially like is that your stuff goes to a sorting center instead of straight to the dump. Made it easier to let go of the 'good stuff' knowing that whatever could be recycled, donated, or reused, would be. They're marginally more expensive than a dumpster, but to me, so worth it.Posted on Yelp

The guys (two of them) who arrived came totally prepared and got straight to work taking stuff out. This was so emotional for me, that i can't believe it took me so long to even consider calling for a clean out. They offered a thorough and safe and simple job and arrived right on time. Kate Letts1934 days agoWe needed to completely clear out an entire 3rd story attic space that was packed to the rafters with over 40 year’s worth of stuff. You name it, it was up there. If you needed something and couldn’t find it, well, it was buried up there - somewhere. And now, if we wanted to finish the attic and get insulation put in - it ALL needed to go... We have used dumpsters in the past, but frankly, just the thought of lugging 40 years worth of stuff down all those flights of stairs - over and over and over again was overwhelming. Plus I hated the thought of just dumping some of the ‘good’ stuff in a landfill when someone could still use it. So Nick Tellie’s ‘We Love Junk Philly’ turned out to be the ideal way to go. Just slightly more expensive than a dumpster - but, infinitely worth it because they, not you, run up and down the stairs doing all the heavy lifting... And even better yet - they can make 40 years worth of junk disappear in under 2 hours... And it doesn’t all go straight to the dump! So most of the items will be sold, recycled, donated, etc., which goes a long way towards mitigating those pesky feelings of guilt or whatever at having to spend money to have stuff you basically wasted money on in the first place hauled away. Which brings me to the last, but possibly most important point. Just the thought of having some random persons come into my home and seeing the amount of crap that was up in that attic was beyond embarrassing. However, from the moment I opened the front door, Nick, Charlie, and Eric made me feel so at ease, any feelings of embarrassment immediately disappeared. They were professional, courteous, friendly, respectful, and extremely helpful. For instance, there were a few ‘toss or keep’ moments, but I never felt rushed or pressured to ‘hurry up and make up your mind already...’ And at the same time, they work extremely efficiently. I was frankly amazed that the three of them got it all done - and in just one truck! - in less than 2 hours. Anyway, I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. The whole process was a breeze - no snafus. They show up at the scheduled time and keep you posted via text as to their ETA. I know that when we tear down the garage later this summer we’ll definitely be hiring WLJ. This was definitely the least painful way to finally let the stuff go...Posted on Facebook
